Refund & Cancellation Policy

At HelpUrBuddy Foundation, we value the generosity and trust of our donors. Every contribution plays a direct role in supporting our mission of feeding the homeless, caring for stray animals, and helping underprivileged communities.

1. Donation Policy

Once your donation is successfully processed and cleared by the payment gateway, it is immediately allocated to the intended project or cause.

Due to this real-time allocation, contributions are final and cannot be refunded or cancelled.

This policy ensures that your contribution reaches those in need without delay.

2. Exceptions

Refunds will be considered only under exceptional circumstances, such as:

Duplicate donations made due to technical errors

Wrong amount entered by the donor due to a transaction mistake

Payment gateway error resulting in an incorrect or failed deduction

In such cases, the donor must notify us within 7 working days of the transaction with valid proof.

3. Request Procedure

If you believe an error has occurred in your donation:

Write to us at helpurbuddy@gmail.com
with the following details:

Donor name

Transaction ID / Payment receipt

Date of donation

Amount donated

Reason for refund request

Our finance team will review the request, and if eligible, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10–15 business days.

4. Tax Exemption Certificates

If a donation has already been acknowledged with a tax exemption certificate (if applicable), we cannot issue a refund, as the benefit has already been claimed by the donor.
